1. Two persons A and B planned to reach a point on the
beach. They started from the same point P but took two
different routes, PCQ and PDQ, respectively as shown
in the picture. Find the distance travelled by each person
and find who has travelled more distance.

Let the time t, after which they meet each other. So, total distance travelled by the person A and B in time t is equal to the circumference of the square i.e.,

4t+2t=4×60
