1. Two poles of height 6m & 11m stand vertically on the ground. Such
that the distance between them is 12m. Find the length of the other side.

do you want to ask distance between their tops , then it's easy

using phytagoras theorem

base²+height ²=hypotenuse ²

(12m)²+(11-6)²=hypotenuse ²

144+5²=hypotenuse ²

144+25=hypotenuse²

169= hypotenuse ²

√169= hypotenuse

13m= hypotenuse

so distance between the poles =13
