stronger acid is solution Y because it is more acidic as it turn pH paper red..

acids which contain more hydrogen ion concentration are known as strong acid and completely ionized ... ex..
HCl

weak acids are those assets which do not completely ionized and contain less amount of concentration of hydrogen ion ....ex..
Acetic acid

thanks

hope it helps you

Y is a stronger acid. The pH paper ranges from Red (most acidic) to Violet (most basic) so 'Y' is stronger.

The acids which give rise to more hydronium ion concentration as compared to others are termed as stronger acids. The acids with low hydronium ion concentration are called weak acids.

For eg- Strong Acid: Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)

Weak Acid: Acetic acid (CH3COOH)
