Answer:

Annyeong Sree Nanda! Can I call u Sree in short?

Hope you find this answer helpful:

1) Let the number be x

ATQ

2/3(x+1) = 14

2x/3 + 2/3 = 14

2x/3 = 14-2/3

2x/3 = (42-2)/3

2x/3 = 40/3

2x = 40/3 × 3

(cancel 3 in denominator with 3 taken to RHS)

2x = 40

x = 40/2

x = 20

Hence the required number is 20

2) Let the price of chair be x

So price of table = 10x

ATQ

10x + 4(x) = 28000

10x + 4x = 28000

14x = 28000

x = 28000/14

x = 2000

Hence the price of chair = x = 2,000 Rupees

and price of table = 10×2,000 = 20,000 Rupees

Hope It Helps You Sree

1) Let the number be x

ATQ

2/3 * (x + 1) = 14

2x/3+2/3= 14

2x / 3 = 14 - 2/3

2x / 3 = (42 - 2) / 3

2x / 3 = 40/3

2x = 40/3 * 3

(cancel 3 in denominator with 3 taken to

RHS)

2x = 40

x = 40/2

x = 20

Hence the required number is 20

2) Let the price of chair be x

So price of table = 10x

ATQ

10x + 4(x) = 28000

10x + 4x = 28000

14x = 28000

x = 28000/14

x = 2000

Hence the price of chair = x = 2,000 Rupees and price of table = 10×2,000 = 20,000Rupees

And ur bias is Gyu right!!!
