Two trucks of mass equal to 5000kg are moving on a
road. One is moving with velocity of 50 m/s while the
other is moving with a velocity of 2mls. Calculate
the force required to stop them in 20 seconds?

Answer:

Explanation:

The answer is more force would be required to stop the truck moving with 50m/s

Calculating force required to stop truck1

Force=m(v-u)/t

=5000kg(0m/s-50m/s)/20s

=-125000N

Calculating force to stop truck 2

=5000kg(0m/s-2m/s)/20s

=-50000N

Hence more force would be required to stop truck 1

Hope it helps
