Identity:-

(x+a)(x+b) =x²+(a+b)x+ab

(i) (x+3)(x+7)

a=3 , b=7

= x²+(3+7)x+3×7

= x²+10x+21

(ii) (4x+5)(4x+1)

a= 5, b= 1

=4x²+(5+1)4x+(5×1)

= 4x²+(6)4x+5

=4x²+24x+5

Hope it helps you.....
