remainder theorem,
a = bq + t
so, 2x³ +3x² -kx +5 is divided by (x -2) and remainder 1
so, 2x³ + 3x² -kx + 5-1 is divided by (x -2) then, remainder 0
so,( x -2) is factor of above,
hence, x = 2 is zeros of above expression
so, put x = 2 in expression .
2(2)³ +3(2)²-2k +4 = 0
16 + 12+ 4 = 2k
K = 16
2) use formula,
SI = P × R × T/100
(8088 - P ) = P × 8 × 3/100
8088 - P = 0.24 P
8088 = 1.24 P
P = 8088/1.24
= 6522 .58 Rs
hence , monthly installment = 6522.58/36 = 181 Rs
a = bq + t
