2. The taste of lemon is sour taste because lemon contains citric acid so it gives a sour taste to lemons. Sugar gives sweetness taste because sugar contains glucose and fructose. Baking soda gives a little bit of salt and bitter taste because basically, it contains sodium hydrogen carbonate.
