Combination reaction :

Two or more reactants combine to form a single product.

Example:. 2Mg + O2 turns to 2Mgo

Decomposition reaction :

A single reactant breaks down into two or more products. in this reaction energy is consumed

Here we have three type

Using Heat Energy :

example: CaCO3 + heat turns to CaO + CO2.

Using Electricity :

example: 2H2O+ Electricity turns to 2H2 + O2

Using sunlight :

example: 2AgCl + sunlight turns to 2Ag+ Br2

Displacement reaction :

More reactive element displaces a less reactive element.

example: CuSO4 + Fe. turns to. FeSO4 + Cu

Precipitation reaction :

Reaction in which presipitate forms

Na2SO4 + BaCl2. turns to. 2NaCl + BaSO4

in which BaSO4 is a white presipitate

the reaction given in preparation reaction is also an example of Double Displacement reaction

NOTE : All precipitation reactions are double displacement reaction but All Double Displacement reactions are not precipitation reactions

Hope it's helpful to you..!
