Answer:

1) Conductors are materials which can conduct or let heat or electricity pass through.

Insulators are materials which resists electricity or heat from passing through it.

2) time = distance / speed

time = 500/50

time = 10 hr

Hope it helps !!!

Conductors:-

  • The substances which allow electric current to pass through them, is known as conductors.

  • Example :- metals

Insulators:-

  • The substances which do not allow electric current to pass through them are called insulators.

  • Example :- wood, plastic,

More to know:-

  • Conductors have low resistance and allows electric current to pass through it.

  • Insulators have high resistance and do not allow the electric current to pass through it.

Given:-

  • Distance between delhi and Lucknow⇾500km.

  • Average speed ⇾50km/hr

To find:-

  • The time which a bus will take to cover the distance.

Solution:-

➳ Speed = \sf\dfrac{Distance}{Time}

➳ Time = \sf\dfrac{Distance}{Speed}

➳ Thus, time = \sf\dfrac{500km}{50km/hr} = 10 h

∴ Hence, the time which the Bus will take to cover the distance at an average speed of 50km/hr is \sf\red{10h}.

More to know:-

  • Speed is the distance travelled by an object in unit time.

  • The SI unit of speed is \sf\red{m/s}.

  • The SI unit of time is \sf\red{second}.
