They are two types Renewable and Non renewable

Renewable : Sunlight

Non renewable: Coal and petroleum

2)Coal formation takes place when many many years ago the dead bodies of several plants and animals get buried under the soil and due to hot temperature and pressure they form into coal.

3)Carbon dioxide.

4)Fossil fuels are the resources that we obtain from the remains of fossils.
