1. Natural resources are essential to civilization as we know it, and are the basis for economy and survival. Resources such as bauxite, iron, and copper form the basis of everyday items, while water, soil, and salt are required for life. It is humanity's duty to protect and conserve natural resources.

2.Renewable resources can be replaced by natural processes as quickly as humans use them. ... Nonrenewable resources exist in fixed amounts. They can be used up. Examples include fossil fuels such as coal.

Answer:

1) natural resources are those resources which are derived or extracted from the environment. for example coal , petroleum, etc.

these play a very important role in our daily life. for example if we have to travel from one place to another , we need vehicles & for running vehicles we need petrol . so in this way they are very essential.

2) renewable resources are those resources which can be renewed or replenished within a short period of time. example - trees etc . whereas non- renewable resources are those resources which cannot be replenished and it takes millions of years to replenish . example- coal etc.

3) Some natural resources have to be processed before using them because they are not ready to be used in their raw form and it may go waste . we can get many useful products after the processing.

4) humans for their own satisfaction they cut trees for furniture, for making books etc which ultimately reduce the number of trees , people even use vehicles which emits smoke and leads to global warming.

5) natural resources are limited. if we use it unconditionally it may become scarce and future generations will not be able to enjoy these types of availability. so it is important for us to conserve the resources and use it carefully.
