There is no special role of brain in reflex action , because CNS , which consists brain and spinal cord . In reflex action the spinal cord command the effector to act on the stimulus .One message is transmitted to the brain by spinal cord.

Regulate message of reflex action.

As our thyroid gland regulate the metabolism of the body. The thyroine hormone have iodine contain in it . Irregular of iodine in the body , cause of diseases like - Hyperthyroidism

Hypothyroidism

This causes the body weight is more and less. So, there is need of iodine in the diet. So we take iodised salt in the diet.
