1.What are the difference between isobars and isotopes?

2. One of the spectral line of caesium has a wavelength of 456 nm. Calculate the frequency of the line.(c=3.8×10^8m/s)

3. Explain cations are smaller and anions are larger in radii then other than atoms?

1) Isobars are those element which have same mass number but different atomic number.

Isotopes are those element which have same atomic number but different mass.

2)Frequency =c/wave length =3*10to the power of 18/456 *10to the power of -9=6.5*10to the power of 24.

3) cations are always smaller than the size of the parent atom and where as a anions gain electrons.
