Kelvin scale:The kelvin scale was adapted from the celsius scale in the 19th century by British scientists William thompson later lord kelvin.Water frezzes at 273.15 k and boils at 373.15 k

Rankine scale:While not windely use- aoart from some U.S enginerring field - The rankine scale provides and absoutulaty zero based equivalent to the Farenheit scale.
