   RAJYA SABHA
   other name of rajya sabha is council of states. the members are diredtly elected by the people. excersice some real power on behalf of the people
   LOK SABHA
     other name of lok sabha is house of the people. members are indirectly elected. excersice some special functions. common work is to look after the interest of various states, religions or federal units
 5: lok sabha is the most powerful house of the parliament
      * any ordinary law needs to be passed by both houses, the final decision is taken in a joint session in which members of both houses sit together, the view of the lok sabha is likely to prevail in such meetings
       * lok sabha exercises  more power in lok sabha money matters. once tke lok sabha passes the budget of the government or any other money related law, the rajya sabha cannot reject it, they can only delay it by 14 days
       * lok sabha controls the council of ministers
