Answer:

The three types of heat transfer

Heat is transfered via solid material (conduction), liquids and gases (convection), and electromagnetical waves (radiation). Heat is usually transfered in a combination of these three types and seldomly occurs on its own.

Answer:

The three types of heat transfer:

            Solid materials( conduction)

            Liquid and gases( convection)

            Electromagnetical waves(radiation)

Explanation:

 Conduction:

Conduction is a process in which heat is transferred from the hotter end of an object to its cooler end. It generally take place in solid.

Eg,. When frying vegetables in an pan. Heat transfer takes places from flame to the pan and then to the vegetables.

 Convection:

The process of transference of heat through a fluid is called convection. Convection heat transfer occurs partly due to the actual movement or due to the mass transfer.

Eg,.Heating of milk in a pan.

 Radiation:

It is the process in which heat is transferred from the body to another body without involving the molecules of the medium. Radiation is a method of heat transfer which does not require a medium.

Eg,. In microwave, the substances are heated directly without any heating medium.
