Water sewerage system is there in city, buts it needs proper maintenance and once that is done, all the drains should be kept clean so that under monsoon season water finds its way through drains.

• Monsoon season is characterized by the heavy downpour of rainwater especially in places near the coasts and the hills as they are most affected places as compared to the plains and desert areas. The most common problem is the excessive flowage of water that leads to the flooding of the rivers.

• The rise in the water level of the rivers lead to the problem of floods, landslides that are associated with the continuous flow of floodwater, and due to which the roads, highways, and pathways get blocked and jammed due to the inefficiency of the sewage system.

• Thus further adds to transport problems and spread of diseases as bacteria and pathogens find their ways to homes and houses of people. The government in order to stop this should maintain proper groundwater management systems and construct dams were necessary.
