What are the two types of force?

 \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{ Answer :-}}}}

  1. Contact force :- A contact force is any force that requires contact to occur.
  2. Non - Contact force :- A non-contact force is a force which acts on an object without coming physically in contact with it.

 \large{ \rm{ \underline{ \red{ Question :-}}}}

Explain the following.

  • Muscular force :- It is a force that results because of the action of muscles and is a contact force since there is contact between the surfaces. Muscular force is required whenever the movement of the body occurs.
  • Friction force :- Frictional force refers to the force generated by two surfaces that contacts and slide against each other.
  • Electrostatic force :- The electrostatic force is an attractive and repulsive force between particles are caused due to their electric charges.
  • Magnetic force :- Magnetic force, attraction or repulsion that arises between electrically charged particles because of their motion.
  • Gravitational force :- The force of attraction between all masses in the universe; especially the attraction of the earth's mass for bodies near its surface.
