- The Philippines is a global model of labor migration. Due to economic reasons like poverty and underdevelopment, laborers are either forced to or willingly migrated to another nation so that they feed their respective families.
- Filipino migrant workers have contributed enough to the socio-economical development. Migrating to another nation not only helped them to earn money but also increased their skills and efficiency. These all eventually resulted in better health care and education for their children. Even though at times, the laborers are forced to migrate still it had shown a great impact on the economy.
