Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh, have bicameral Legislatures, rest all has Unicameral Legislatures. In these 6 states with Bicameral Legislature, the upper house is called State Legislative Council (Vidhan Parishad), one-third of whose members are elected every two years.
