A) Chloride of lime is bleaching powder, i.e, CaOCl2. Formula for Calcium chloride is CaCl2
B) 2CaOCl2 + H2SO4 ----> CaSO4 + CaCl2 + 2HOCl.
C) Bleaching powder is used to bleach fabric, wood, washed clothes As an oxidising agent Disinfecting drinking water.
