force is interaction which changes state of the object. when force is applied then there can b change in state, nature, position, direction.
objects for cutting have sharp  edges so that force falls over very small area creating gr eater pressure making it easy to cut.
s i do agree. friction hepls us to walk and on the other hand also tears away the soles of shoes .
