A radical is an atom, ion, or molecule that has unpaired electrons.

An element is a substance made up of the same type of atoms.

A compound is a combination of two or more elements.

Based off these definitions, we know that radicals, elements, and compounds biggest difference is there size. We know this because an element is a combination of atoms, and a compound is a combination of elements.
