Answer:

1) Apartheid was a political and social system in South Africa during the era of White minority rule. It enforced racial discrimination against non-Whites, mainly focused on skin colour and facial features. This existed in the twentieth century, from 1948 until the early-1990s.

2) If the tiger were in the jungle, his natural habitat, he would have been free. He would like in the shadow of long grass to prey on the plump deer passing near the waterhole. He would be snarling around houses at the edge of the forest. He would also be terrorising the villagers by baring his white teeth and claws.

3) The tiger ignores the visitors as his strength is confined to the cage. He feels sad and restless behind the concrete walls. He is fed up with his situation and so ignores the visitors.

4) He unnerved Max by cooking up a false story of the arrival of the police. Confused and panicky, Max jumped out on the balcony which did not exist. In this way, Ausable got rid of his enemy or rival. Q35.

5) Griffin entered the big London store to eat some food and he wore some clothes from the store while it was closed and in the morning when workers came to the store,he again took off his clothes and become invisible and ran away from the store.
