1) Blind spot, small portion of the visual field of each eye that corresponds to the position of the optic disk (also known as the optic nerve head) within the retina. There are no photoreceptors (i.e., rods or cones) in the optic disk, and, therefore, there is no image detection in this area.

2) The pupil is the part of your eye that controls how much light gets in. In bright light, your pupils get smaller (constrict) to limit the amount of light that enters.

3) The colored tissue at the front of the eye that contains the pupil in the center. The iris helps control the size of the pupil to let more or less light into the eye.

  1. blind spot is a point on retina which is insensitive to light.
  2. the pupil is the opening in the center of iris. it is black as no light is reflected from it.
  3. iris is a dark colour muscular diaphragm which controls the amount of light enter the eye. it also adjusts the pupil.
