Answers
Answer:
1.An ecosystem includes different communities of plants, animals and microbes together with their physicochemical environments. It consists of two major components, biotic or living components and nonbiotic or nonliving components. Biotic components include plants, animals, decomposers.
2. There are mainly four types of consumers in ecology and they are classified according to their position in the food chain - herbivores, carnivores, omnivores and decomposers. Herbivores are the ones who only eat green plants, vegetables and other type of vegetation like cows, giraffes, elephants.
3.The relationship between the bird on tree and the lake is also included in the ecosystem. This relationship includes: 1)birds get drinking water from the lake. 3)the trees get water resources from the lake for it's growth ,and this trees are the living place of the birds.
4.a food chain follows one path of energy and materials between species. A food web is more complex and is a whole system of connected food chains. In a food web, organisms are placed into different trophic levels.
