Answer:

1.Conductors conduct electrical current very easily because of their free electrons. Insulators oppose electrical current and make poor conductors. Some common conductors are copper, aluminum, gold, and silver. Some common insulators are glass, air, plastic, rubber, and wood.

2.When the filament (thin wire) of a bulb gets broken, the bulb is said to be fused. ... If we want to 'turn on' or 'turn off' a bulb (or any other electrical appliance) easily, we should connect a switch in the electric circuit. The switch is a simple device which is used to 'open' or close a circuit.

3.The materials which get attracted towards a magnet are magnetic – for example, iron, nickel or cobalt. The materials which are not attracted towards a magnet are non-magnetic materials. Examples of non-magnetic materials include rubber, coins, feather and leather.

4.Attractive Property – Magnet attracts ferromagnetic materials like iron, cobalt, and nickel.

Repulsive Properties – Like magnetic poles repel each other and unlike magnetic poles attract each other.

5.Maximum iron fillings will stick to the ends of the bar magnet because at the ends of the magnet poles are located. The strength of the poles is maximum at the ends of the magnet. A freely suspended magnet always aligns itself in North-South direction.
