Diversity in cell refers to the different types of cells on the basis of their shape, size, function and origin.

The shape of the cell is based on the function it performs and what kind of tissue it is. It also depends on whether it is a unicellular or multicellular organisms, whether it is a prokaryote or a eukaryote.

The cells in a leaf blade are generally permanent tissue's cell ( parenchyma and collenchyma) there is also the epidermis ( outer most layer for protection) which contains stomata.

Answer:

1. Cell type diversity refers to the range of different cell types that comprise a tissue or organism. Cell type diversity arises during the development of the nervous system as a result of the acts of cell intrinsic and extrinsic factors controlling cell fate determination.

2. The shape of the cells depends upon the different functions they perform. They may be sperical, rounded, cuboidal, tubular, discoidal or irregular. It also depends on the cytoskeleton.

3. Narrow-leaf blade has dum b-bell shaped guard cells shaped stomata such as in grasses and wheat plant. It is more efficient as it requires less water and solutes for opening. Whereas broad leaf blade has kidney-shaped guard cells or kidney-shaped stomata.
