1. The sum total of the all processes by which the nutrients from food are utilised by the living organisms to provide energy and maintain life process is called nutrition .

2. The Stomata is the openings at present in the epidermal cells of the leaves . they are surrounded by to kidney shaped guard cells . the cells have chloroplast which is lacking in the epidermal cells.
