it is tissue in mother' body from where the embryo gets nourishment and food is transported to embryo in mother's body by this tissue

1. placenta is a disc like structure embedded in the uterine wall

functions-

(1) it provides nutrients to the baby from the mother's blood

(2) it exchanges waste materials of the child by discharging it into mother's blood

2. (a) butterflies sit on one flower then on another. during this some pollen grains are carried by them which then land on anther of other flower and helps in cross pollination

(b) bees , flies , ants and many other insects
