Answer:

1)Radiant energy, energy that is transferred by electromagnetic radiation, such as light, X-rays, gamma rays, and thermal radiation, which may be described in terms of either discrete packets of energy, called photons, or continuous electromagnetic waves.

2)When we touch a steel rod and a paper simultaneously in winter, we feel the rod is comparatively colder because steel being a good conductor of heat, heat from our hand flows to steel but there is no transfer of heat from our hand to paper as it is an insulator of heat.

3)The conduction is the movement of something such as heat or electricity through a medium or passage.

4)The polished silvery surface is very much better than the rough surface. In fact, it is as plain as the mirror surface. Therefore, when light falls on it, it does not get absorbed after getting incident. It gets reflected after falling on the shiny silvery surface.

5)As metals are good conductors of heat.. that is why cups are not made of metals. Also metals have the capability to easily react when come in contact with heat ..

Hope it's will help you

Answer:

1. In physics, and in particular as measured by radiometry, radiant energy is the energy of electromagnetic and gravitational radiation. As energy, its SI unit is the joule.

2. When we touch a steel rod and a paper simultaneously in winter, we feel the rod is comparatively colder because steel being a good conductor of heat, heat from our hand flows to steel but there is no transfer of heat from our hand to paper as it is an insulator of heat.

3. the process by which heat or electricity passes through a material.

4.The polished silvery surface is very much better than the rough surface. In fact, it is as plain as the mirror surface. Therefore, when light falls on it, it does not get absorbed after getting incident. It gets reflected after falling on the shiny silvery surface.

5. As metals are good conductors of heat.. that is why cups are not made of metals. Also metals have the capability to easily react when come in contact with heat.
