1. Resource development means development should take place without damaging the environment and development in the present should not destroy the ability of the future generations to meet their needs. Therefore , it is our duty to ensure that :-

a) all uses of renewable resources are sustained.

b) The diversity of life on Earth is conserved.

c) The population and distribution of rare and threatened species should be increased.

d) Damage to natural environment should be minimised.

e) Recycling of reusable goods should be increased.

f) Alternative resource is used if made available.

development of resources means converting the existing resources in to useful materials is known as resources development .

resources present in environment are :- water , soil , trees ,

biotic = animal , creature of forest .

abiotic = stones

renewable = sunlight ,

non renewable = petroleum
