  2. Silkworms can ONLY survive on mulberry leaves (genus Morus). some another food are also there.

1) Sericulture : The rearing of silkworms for obtaining silk is called sericulture. In other words, the breeding and management of silk worms for the production of silk is known as sericulture.

2) A silkworm's preferred food is white mulberry leaves, though they may eat other mulberry species and even Osage orange. In simple words, the main food of silkworms are mulberry leaves.

3) Shearing : The process of removing the fleece of the sheep along with thin layer of skin is called shearing. Once a sheep develops a thick coat of hair, it is shaved off to obtain wool. The process of cutting off the woollen fleece of sheep with a thin layer of skin is called shearing. It is done by the machines similar to those used by barbers to remove hairs
