1. What is the acceleration of a rock thrown straight upward on the way up? At the top of its flight? On the way down? Assume there is no air resistance.

the main acceleration would be g m/s^2 in magnitude .

yet while going up this value would be negative at the top and at the bottom or while going down this value would be positive in nature .....
