Answer:

1) The aim of production is to produce goods and services to satisfy the needs of people as per their demand. Four factors for production of goods and services are as follows : Land Land and other natural resources such as water, forests, minerals etc. labour or Workers The workers provide necessary labour for production.

2) The introduction of High Yielding Varieties (HYV) of seeds and the increased use of chemical fertilisers and irrigation are known collectively as 'Green Revolution'. It provided the increase in production needed to make India self-sufficient in foodgrains, thus improved the agricultural sector in India.

3) It helps in increasing the production of different crop in same land. more production means more benefits and more income. Multiple cropping also increases fertility of land. It also decreases the crop effect with any insect or disease.

4) Traditional farming makes use of traditional and age-old agriculture equipment. On the other hand, modern farming makes use of modern equipment. Technology-intensive farming methods are used in modern farming.

5) The non-farm activities of Palampur are dairy, small scale manufacturing and transport. ... Dairy is the main non-farming activity of the people of Palampur. People have domesticated cows and buffaloes.

2. green revolution was started by MS swaminathan who is called the father of green revolution.It was started to increase the production of crop to get indipendency for india. In this revolution high quality of seeds were used along with the use of good machinery.

4. in the traditional farming small tools were being used with no machinery, all the work was done manually

while in modern method of farming good techniques are used for production with the use of big and heavy machinery which jave reduced the manual work and labour of farmers. along with this fertilizers are also in use
