Answer : Grand Trunk road ( or GT road) was made by Sher Shah Suri in 16th century. He was a ruler of Indian Subcontinent. It was made to reduce distance between India and Pakistan. It has linked between eastern and western parts of India like Bengal in Eastern India to Peshawar, Pakistan in Western India.
