2. Basically landslides occur near a mountain area and the areas below the mountains are mainly exposed to landslides. Often road accidents in a mountain area are caused by landslides.

3. Landslides are caused by various natural calamities such as earthquakes, volcanoes, groundwater changes, and many more. The sudden occurrence of these calamities in the slopes of mountains and hills causes rocks to fall down causing landslides.

4. If the portion of the mountain slides down towards the remaining residential building on the left, the community that will be affected most will be the people living near the residential areas. It also poses a threat to their lives because in extreme cases it causes death.

5. The part that will be least affected will be areas far away from the area in the given picture because landslides occur only in a particular part where the slope is high and there are chances of rocks falling.
