Answer:

1) The main function of Golgi apparatus is to carry out the processing of proteins generated in the ER. Golgi apparatus also transports protein to the different parts of cell. Cells synthesize a large number of different macromolecules required for life

2) The Golgi apparatus, also called Golgi complex or Golgi body, is a membrane-bound organelle found in eukaryotic cells (cells with clearly defined nuclei) that is made up of a series of flattened stacked pouches called cisternae. It is located in the cytoplasm next to the endoplasmic reticulum and near the cell nucleus

3) For example, when cell gets damaged, lysosome may burst and the enzymes digest their own cell. Therefore lysosomes are known as the Suicidal bags of a cell or we can say that they posses different kind of hydrolases on release of these enzymes that cause death of cell.

4) Lysosomal enzymes are synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum and modified in the Golgi apparatus. Lysosomal enzymes are tagged for lysosomes by the addition of mannose-6-phosphate label.
