1) (a) The slope of the distance-time graph for an object in uniform motion is straight line.

(b) The slope of the distance-time graph for an object in non-uniform motion is not a straight line.

2) The object is in the rest, due to no change in the position over time.

3) It means that the speed of the object is not changing with time i.e., the object is in non-uniform motion.

4) The distance is measured by the area occupied below the velocity time graph. This is because distance = speed x time .

Distance time graph for uniform is straight line.

For non uniform it will be graph with many up and downs

When distance time graph is straight line parallel to time axis it means velocity is zero and object is at rest.

If speed time graph is line parallel to time axis it means velocity is constant.

Area occupied by velocity time graph is the displacement done by body.
