1) Threshing is a part of harvesting process.
It involves separating the grains from the straw either by impact, friction or combing action.

2) The process of separation of grains from husk and hay with the help of wind is called winnowing.

3) Sieving is the method of separation of fine particles from bigger particles by allowing the finer particles to pass through the holes of a sieve, leaving the bigger particles in the sieve itself.

1)Threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of grain (or other crop) from the husks and straw to which it is attached. It is the step in grain preparation after reaping and before winnowing, which separates the grain from the chaff. Threshing does not remove the bran from the grain

2)Wind winnowing is an agricultural method developed by ancient cultures for separating grain from chaff. It is also used to remove weevils or other pests from stored grain. Threshing, the loosening of grain or seeds from the husks and straw, is the step in the chaff-removal process that comes before winnowing

3)Sieving is a simple technique for separating particles of different sizes. A sieve such as used for sifting flour has very small holes.
