1. By stem tubers: For example, onions, turmeric, potato, etc.

2. By root tubers: For example, tuberous roots of sweet potato, dahlia, asparagus, etc.

3. From reproductive organs: Flower buds of Agave species develop in bulbils.

4. By runners or stolon's: For example, strawberry.

5. By bulbs: For example, garlic, onions, tulips, etc.
