Answer:

Lencho wrote the letter to God as he thought that he would be the only one to help him in his bad times. He wrote a letter addressing to God to send him 100 pesos so that he and his family can survive in such a difficult situation.

Lencho is the main character of the story “The Letter to God.” He is a poor farmer who is the sole bread-earner of the family. He had faith in God. Lencho lived in a small house which was situated on the crest of a low hill in the valley. His house was the only house in the entire valley. He lived with his wife and his sons.

Hope it helps you

Answer:

The hailstorm left nothing in Lencho's farm.Even Locust would have left more than this. Lencho and his family got disappointed. When they slept at night, they remembered that only God can help them. Next day, Lencho wrote a letter to God, asking for a hundred pesos to restore his field and to gain profit.

The outcome was that the postman could not collect 100 pesos, he could collect only 70 pesos after lots of donation. He happily gave it to Lencho. Lencho thought that the money was given by God and not by the postman. Hence, when Lencho counted the money, he became angry as God couldn't make a mistake. He called the postman and the postmaster bunch of crooks.
