x-\frac{11}{4} = -\frac{25}{14}

x=-\frac{25}{14} +\frac{11}{4}

x = \frac{-50+77}{28}

x = \frac{27}{28}

LHS = \frac{27}{28} +(-\frac{11}{4} )

= \frac{27}{28} - \frac{11}{4}

= \frac{27-77}{28}

= \frac{-50}{28}

= \frac{-50}{28} ÷ \frac{2}{2}

= \frac{-25}{14}

RHS = \frac{-25}{14}
