a) Let 63 be x% of 90

So x/100 ×90 = 63

So x = 6300/90

x = 70%

b) Let 80 be x% of 240

So, x = (80×100)/240

x = 33.33%

c)Let 16 be x% of 250

x/100 × 250 = 16
x = 1600/250
x = 6.4%

d) 1m = 100cm

Let 200 be x% of 100

x/100 × 100 = 200

x = 200%

e) One dozen = 12
One score = 20

Let 12 be x% of 20

x = 1200/20
x = 60%

1. ( a ) Rs 63 of Rs 90.

Let x % of Rs 90 is Rs 63

=> x / 100 * 90 = 63

=> 9x / 10 = 63

=> x = 630 / 9

=> x = 70

Hence, 70 % is Rs 63 of Rs 90.

(b) 80 litres of 240 litres

Let x % of 240 litres is 80 litres.

=> x / 100 * 240 = 80

=> 24 x / 10 = 80

=> x = 800 / 24

=> x = 33.33 %

Hence, 33.33 % is 80 litres of 240 litres .

(c) 16 of 250

Let x % of 250 is 16.

=> x / 100 * 250 = 6

=> 25 x / 10 = 6

=> x = 60 / 25

=> x = 2.4 %

Hence, 2.4 % is 6 of 250.

(d) 200 cm of 1 m

Let x % of 100 cm is 200 cm.

=> x / 100 * 100 = 200

=> x = 200 cm

Hence, 200 % is 200 cm of 1 m.

_____________________________

( d ) 1 dozen of one score

One dozen = 12
One score = 20

Let x % of 20 is 12

=> x / 100 * 20 = 12

=> 2x = 120

=> x = 120 / 2

=> x = 60

Hence, 60 % is one dozen of one score.
