1:Official records are those that contain information regarding the national matters

2:Letters , Writings, Speechs provide information about the development that take place during a particular period. For example , the collection of Writings of Gandhiji at the Gandhi Smriti near Rajghat , which is one of the biggest museum on Gandhiji

5:India was full of rich resources which indeed attracted the east India company. Another reason was it saw that there was no proper governance in India, so rather than buying and transporting goods why not set up it's company there and start it's own production. The rule of East India company came to an end when people of India slowly realised that they have to be united to throw Britishers our out of India.
