1. The Mughals followed the coparcenary rule of inheritance, in which the whole empire would be divided among all the sons. They did not follow the primogeniture rule, wherein the eldest son inherited the father's property.
V. They are handmade and are much smaller than any normal painting. These paintings were done on items which were perish nable like paper, cloth, leaves etc. To be considered as a miniature painting the painting has to be less than 25 square inches or less than 100 square cm.
