Muhammad Ghori?
Answers
Answer:
Muhammad ghori and prithviraj Chauhan faught between
Explanation:
Mahmud of Ghazni was more of a fanatic who wanted to spread Islam in India and enrich his kingdom. He destroyed temples and idols of Hindu gods. His attacks were mostly directed on the religious places of the Hindus. Mahmud did not try to establish his empire in India. He was more interested in plundering the wealth of India. He was given the title of ‘Idol Breaker’. His raids were rapid and difficult to counter. During his invasion, Indian kingdoms were small and divided.
Ghori on the other hand directed his attacks on important towns and forts. He emphasized more on establishing an empire and hence he had to face more serious opposition. During his invasion, Indian kingdoms were still warring between themselves but were strong enough to fight invaders. Prithviraj Chauhan was able to integrate most of the Rajput clans under his banner and hence he was able to defeat Ghori in the first battle of Tarain.
