Since air is invisible we easily forget that it is all around us. When we blow air in a balloon, we can feel the air pushing on the balloon. It's the same with a tire or basketball. When we sit in front of a fan, we can actually feel the air molecules moving in the same direction.

We don’t normally feel air pressure because the pressure inside our bodies is approximately equal to the pressure outside our bodies. However, when we move to a higher altitude (lower pressure) we feel the change in our eardrums which are thin membranes that are more sensitive to differences in pressure on each side of them.
