Dear Diary

Today my joy knows no bounds. This is the happiest time of my life. Finally I have achieved what I had yearned for deep in my heart. The results are out and I have topped the class. I have received so many compliments from all. My father has promised to gift me my favourite bicycle.

Achieving this success was not easy. I didn’t waste my single moment. I just practiced, practiced and practiced. I stayed focused all the time. I didn’t watch TV at all. Thus working I realized, if a student utilizes his time optimally, he can do wonders. I realized studies are not difficult at all; developing the right attitude to study and focusing our mind on study is difficult. Hard work really pays off. I secured A1 in all the subjects. Today I promised myself to be industrious and disciplined all my life.
